Wherever you are in your tennis journey, whether it's looking to make varsity or play collegiately, there's a better way to strike the ball and structure a point.

A solid tennis foundation sets a higher tennis ceiling.

What we can do together

Three ways to work

Every one of them starts with the same free assessment, so you know exactly what you’re buying before you buy it.

01

Private lessons

Full hour, just you. The fastest way to change something that’s been broken for years, because nothing gets missed.

  • 60 or 90 minutes
  • Stroke-by-stroke technical work
  • Written plan between lessons

$140 / hour

02

Semi-private

Two or three players at a similar level. Live-ball drilling you simply can’t replicate alone, at a lower cost per head.

  • 2–3 players
  • Point-play under pressure
  • Bring your own partner or I’ll match you

$75 / player / hour

03

Junior development

For players aiming at high school, UTR, or a college roster. Technical work now, so the ceiling is higher later.

  • Ages 9–18
  • Tournament and UTR planning
  • Parent progress reports

$140 / hour

Philosophy

Block training for maximum improvement

Each student is taught like they're family. If tennis were "art" then each player is a personal representation of a lifetime of coach's accumulated tennis knowledge. The goal is to prepare the player to compete at the highest levels, without regard to "limits". We teach the right way, not "oh, they're only trying to win their league."

Private tennis lessons mean no anointed players. No favored players on court 1. Hard work and a focus on the details woven into lessons structured around getting the little things right. The little details lead to the biggest improvements.

We see where you actually are

You hit, I watch, and I tell you what I see — mechanics, footwork, decisions. Nearly every player is surprised by at least one thing on that list.

We name the three things

Not thirty. Three. The specific habits costing you the most points — ranked, so you know what we attack first and why.

We rebuild them

Six to eight weeks of focused work, with something concrete to practice between sessions. Change feels awkward before it feels fast.

We pressure-test it

Live points, scoreboard on. A stroke that only holds up in a feeding drill hasn’t actually changed yet.

Experience

Coach Parker

Coach Parker has worked with over a dozen world-class tennis coaches. His son's tennis journey opened up travel and tennis academy experiences that fostered connections with amazing coaches from around the world. He spent time as the tennis director and as an academy executive with the coach that produced over 10 world #1 and more than 25 top ten ATP/WTA rankings. These experiences heavily shaped his approach to player development. He's coached players that have gone on to win at the national level, international, and some that played collegiately and professionally.

Every player's path is different, but the goal is the same: maximize the player's ceiling, whether that means high school tennis, tournaments, college, or stronger adult league play.

  • Former tennis director
  • Trained under multiple Grand Slam coaches and winners
  • 25+ years coaching, juniors through advanced adults

★★★★★
Coach Parker is a tennis coach that is exceptional in making sure that one’s foundation and technical skills are strong. He is everything that you would want in a coach - tailoring drills/skill test to what you need, a great listener, is committed to your growth and development and is extremely professional. Our family first met Coach Parker at a park where he was training a young person. My husband and I stood and watched his interaction. After the lesson, we introduced ourself and he started coaching our daughter from elementary school into high school. One of my top memories is he told us that he is going to teach her how to serve just like the professionals, it will take some work and time, but the payoff will be well worth it! Blackburn Tennis Center has her on their instagram page showing how to serve. Coach Robert’s teaching has served our daughter well in tournaments and will continue as she move into college tennis.

★★★★★
Robert coached me from the very first time I picked up a racquet all the way through earning a Division I college tennis scholarship — something I never could have achieved without his guidance. What sets him apart as a coach is his technical precision. He has an incredible eye for mechanics and always knew exactly what needed fixing and how to fix it. Training at his academy, I was pushed to compete at the highest level while developing a rock-solid foundation of fundamentals that held up against the best competition in the country. If you’re serious about improving your game, whether you’re a beginner or a competitive junior, North Georgia Performance Tennis is the real deal. He’s not just a great coach, he’s someone who truly invests in his players for the long haul.

★★★★★
Robert coached my daughter through middle school and into high school, during some very important and challenging years for her. He was not only an amazing tennis coach, but also someone who truly cared about her growth and development as a player. His knowledge of the game, particularly his ability to teach proper technique, made an incredible difference. I truly believe that without Robert’s coaching and the foundation he helped build, she would not be where she is today—playing college tennis. We are so grateful for the time, patience, encouragement, and expertise he invested in her over the years. I would highly recommend Robert to any player or family looking for a knowledgeable, dedicated, and caring tennis coach.

★★★★★
Robert’s coaching is smart and focused on technique. His ability to notice and fix biomechanical flaws will lay the solid groundwork needed for a player to advance. After laying a solid foundation, he will continue to build the player, both mechanically and mentally, into an advanced competitor. In addition, Robert truly cares about his players. He is patient, calm, and maintains a steady composure. Robert coached my son when he was a youth/junior player. He now plays for a competitive college club team. Coach Robert is an exceptional tennis coach in every way.

★★★★★
I train with Robert Parker and have had an amazing experience! Highly recommend!! Great teacher, patient and tailors sessions according to my needs and learning style. He’s not just going to feed you balls and watch you hit. That’s what a ball machine is for! He takes the time to listen to you and examine your game. His constant feedback and encouragement have really improved my strokes and game play. My slice backhand was a complete wreck but it’s become a weapon and I love it!

Free Tennis Assessment

Let’s find your three things

Start with a free assessment. You’ll leave knowing exactly what’s holding your game down — whether or not you ever book another lesson.

  • An honest read on your mechanics
  • An analysis
  • Honest answer on whether I’m the right coach for you
  • It stands alone — no package required

I reply personally within one business day. Your details are never shared or sold.

Before you ask

Common questions

What do I get with the free assessment?

You hit, I watch, and I give you an analysis of your game. It isn’t a sales call with a racquet: you can use that analysis to work on your game independently. And if I’m not the right coach for what you need, I’ll say so and point you somewhere better.

I’m a complete beginner. Is that a problem?

It’s an advantage. Beginners have no bad habits to unlearn, which makes the first year of progress genuinely fast.

Where do lessons take place?

I coach across Cumming, Dawsonville, Alpharetta, Milton, Oakwood, Braselton, Flowery Branch and Gainesville. Exact locations get confirmed when we book.

Do I need my own racquet?

Not necessarily — I bring demos and balls. If you continue, I’ll help you pick a racquet that suits your swing rather than whatever was on sale.

How often should I train?

Once a week changes things. Twice a week changes them roughly three times faster, because you re-enter each session before the last one has faded.
